About Me.

Hi! My name is Gilles. I speak fluently English, French and Spanish. I was born and raised in Normandy where all my family is from.
I have always been passionate about the history of my beautiful region and it's always a great pleasure for me to share my knowledge.

In the 90s, after having learned cooking at the hotel school, I took a course in the production of apple cider and Calvados and I founded in 1994 the "Compagnie des Calvados" in Honfleur which is now in the talented hands of my sister.
I am still very passionate about Norman gastronomy, I would be happy to show you around the farms of the Pays d'Auge and let you taste our delicious artisanal products.
In 2007, I opened a parenthesis and left with my family for Mexico where I stayed for 14 years. After studying the history of Mayas, I worked as a private guide for the "playa private tours" company that I founded.
During this enriching experience, I learned a lot about how to organize the tours so that you can spend the best day possible with me.
When I returned to France, I worked for a year in a tourism transportation company as a driver/guide and so I had the time to train myself more in the history of my beautiful region which I am in love with.

After this very rewarding experience, I finally decided to make myself available to help YOU live unique adventures in Normandy.
