WALK IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF HISTORY
From the cliffs of Pointe du Hoc to the sands of Omaha Beach, discover the places where history was made on June 6, 1944

POINTE DU HOC
Perched high above the English Channel, Pointe du Hoc was one of the most formidable German positions along the Normandy coast. On D-Day, U.S. Army Rangers scaled its sheer cliffs under enemy fire in one of the most daring assaults of June 6, 1944. Walk among the preserved bunkers, gun emplacements and bomb craters as your guide brings the dramatic story of the Rangers and their mission to life.

OMAHA BEACH
Stretching along the Normandy coast, Omaha Beach became the scene of the most intense fighting of the American landings on D-Day. On June 6, 1944, thousands of U.S. soldiers came ashore under devastating German fire. Explore the key landing sectors as your guide explains the challenges they faced and the extraordinary courage that ultimately turned a near-disaster into a decisive breakthrough.

NORMANDY AMERICAN CEMETERY
After taking time for a quick lunch, we continue to the Normandy American Cemetery overlooking Omaha Beach. Set in a peaceful landscape above the coast, it is the final resting place of more than 9,000 American servicemen. Walk among the rows of white crosses and Stars of David as your guide shares the stories behind the sacrifice and explains the lasting significance of this deeply moving place.

LONGUES-SUR-MER
Overlooking the English Channel, the German battery at Longues-sur-Mer is one of the best-preserved sites of the Atlantic Wall. Explore its original concrete bunkers, still housing their massive naval guns, as your guide explains their role on D-Day and the fierce exchanges of fire with the Allied fleet offshore.

ARROMANCHES-LES-BAINS
In the small seaside town of Arromanches-les-Bains, discover the extraordinary story of Mulberry B, the artificial harbour built by the Allies in the days following D-Day. This remarkable feat of engineering played a vital role in supplying the armies advancing through Normandy, and its massive concrete caissons can still be seen resting offshore more than 80 years later.
