At the summit of the Mont, we’ll discover the extraordinary Abbey of Mont-Saint-Michel. From its Romanesque church and peaceful cloisters to the spectacular Gothic rooms of the Merveille, the visit reveals how generations of monks, builders and pilgrims shaped this unique monument.

SAINT-JAMES AMERICAN CEMETERY, REMEMBERING THE FALLEN

In the afternoon, after lunch, we’ll travel to the peaceful Saint-James American Cemetery, where more than 4,400 American servicemen are laid to rest. The cemetery offers an opportunity to understand the battles that followed D-Day and to remember those who lost their lives during the liberation of Brittany and the advance across France.
